Located at 917 McFee Road, McFee Park is Farragut’s largest park and one of West Knoxville’s most popular destinations. Following the Grand Opening of Phase 3 in June 2022, approximately 26 of the 51 acres have been developed. Today the park offers a wide range of amenities, including a lighted regulation field, practice field, playground, splash pad, adaptive bike and hike trail, lighted walking trails, tennis and pickleball courts, basketball court, three picnic pavilions (including a special event pavilion), and three restrooms.

Now, the park is moving into its next chapter of growth.

  • Phase 4 Ribbon Cutting: On Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at 3:00 p.m., the Town of Farragut will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new parking area (just beyond the splash pad). This event marks the official completion of Phase 4, which added a 127-space permeable-paver parking lot and a pavilion serving as a trailhead for the Adaptive Mountain Bike and Hiking Trail.
  • Looking Ahead (Phase 5): The next phase will add a dog park, trailhead, and restroom facilities. Design is planned for summer 2025, bidding in fall 2025, and construction is expected to wrap up by late spring 2026.
